    Dave and Anne,
I enjoyed your newsletter and am so glad progress continues in Haiti — especially through the water project.
Caveat- your You Tube video on your website depicting the Haiti trip with captions
has what I think you may consider an “unchristian” “ads by google” overriding the captions– stated in different ways as it shows multiple times: Chinese girls for dating and love…, etc.
Some of the other ads by google seem fine although the do block the captions somewhat; I think they may help with your costs and I am grateful you make money with those ads.
That “houskeeping matter” aside, Charlie and I are overjoyed at the growth of The Global Mission as you both use your gifts for the Lord and are stretched beyond measure for His glory.

    P.S. Congratulations on 5 years!!

Thanks for the feedback! So glad to have you celebrating with us… we are so grateful for your partnership.

It’s helpful to know what others see when they view our video. We do not make any money from ads, nor do we wish them there. We don’t have control over them – Google owns YouTube and makes money that way. We are going to look into another way to host our videos online… in fact, we already can host them elsewhere, we also posted them on YouTube so that people would be able to find them online. We’ll let you know what we come up with. Thanks for the “heads up” on the ads you’re seeing when you watch our content.

Update: We now have a subscription to Vimeo Plus without ads, and we are going back through our media to switch the original content. As you can see on this page, there are no longer ads on the video.
